Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the confidentiality of your password, and all activity under your account.
• Report any unauthorized use immediately to help@petcowe.com.

2. Scope of the Service

PetCowe provides features such as pet health records, social sharing (posts, stories, comments), messaging, a forum, maps, and walk events. We may change, add, or remove features from time to time.

3. User Content & License

You own the content you share (text, photos, pet and health information, etc.). By sharing it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, and operate it solely to provide the service. You represent that you hold the rights necessary to share your content.

4. Prohibited Conduct

When using the service you agree not to:

• Post unlawful, misleading, hateful, harassing, obscene, or violent content.
• Infringe others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Send spam, create fake accounts, or impersonate others.
• Harm the service, attempt to breach its security, or scrape data with automated tools without permission.
• Provide or seek professional medical advice as a substitute for a veterinarian.

5. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms and to warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that break the rules. You can report content using the in-app tools.

6. Health Disclaimer

PetCowe helps you organize pet health information but is not veterinary advice. Always consult a veterinarian for decisions about your pet's health.

7. Intellectual Property

Except for user content, the PetCowe brand, logo, software, and design belong to us and are protected by law. They may not be used without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party providers such as Supabase, Google Firebase, and OpenStreetMap. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of these services.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time via "Settings → Delete Account" in the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you in the app or on this page and update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Contact
